Student Assignment: Comparison of albedo (reflectivity) for different seasons

Submit a short (4-6 sentences) summary of your observations of seasonal changes in albedo.
  1. Find the locations of regions with the lowest and highest albedo for January (2.5 degree resolution gives the best view). Ignore Arctic polar night region.
  2. Do the same for July, March, and September. Each time you request an albedo image, it will be added to the page above the previous image(s), resulting in 4 albedo images.

For this assignment, use the CoVis Greenhouse Effect Visualizer.
