• The occurrence of dialogue is essential, but complex to handle

• Dependent on instructional/pedagogical culture

• Stimulating/motivating through assessment of dialogue e.g. using a point system (e.g. Global Change) based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria in relation to studentsí comments

  • a certain number of comments (a new perspective, reactions to the perspectives of others, reactions triggered)
  • a certain quality of comments
