Creativity (Schmidt 2000):

• not a competency
• occurs in collaboration with others
• occurs in a space of confrontations between different interpretations (i.e. a knowledge building dialogue)

The process of creativity (Schmidt 2000):

• many perspectives => more ìweightî in the thought
• more ìweightî in the thought => more possible constellations of what one knows
• more possible constellations of what one knows => the higher the chance of a new, original thought
