July 22, 2007:

I decided to pull the trigger at the last moment on this chase. Storms to the north of Ames were beginning to get their act together, so my fiance and I hopped in the car to have a look. We headed north on I-35, and turned east on Hwy 20. Our target was Waterloo, IA. When we got there, we observeda storm with a wall cloud. This storm dumped large hail on the Waterloo. As the storm moved east, it quick died and the sun was beginning to set.
