Childern are at Risk
due to Scarcity of Clean Water
United Nations Internation Children's Emergency Fund (ENICEF)
Forty thousand children worldwide (mostly on the African continent) are dying
every day from hunger or disease caused by lack of water or from contaminated
water. At the beginning of the year 2000, almost 40% of the African population
will be at the risk of death or disease from water scarcity or contamination.
