My current professional goal is to work for the National Weather
Service upon graduating from Iowa State University in May 2009.
I would prefer an office located within the plains states, although
an office outside of this area may suffice in order to reach my goal.
Graduating from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's Degree in
Meteorology will be sufficient education to work within the National
Weather Service. In order to gain my final goal of working within the
plains states working for the National Weather Service, I plan on
first gaining experience. This will hopefully include both an
internship within the NWS and an internship in another area,
potentially my hometown's nearby radio station over a summer during
college. Once graduated, although the best option would be to begin
in an office within the plains, I will have to begin wherever the best
job offer is available. Once again, I then hope to work my way into a
plains office to work.
