Conclusion

With this information on the specifics of cultural differences between Germany, India, Italy, and American Storm Chasers, the Organization will be better prepared for interaction between the cultures. In order to have a successful conference, the authors of this report offer a few pieces of advice. First, heed the information given in this report. The large variances in the cultures could cause major problems, so the Organization must be prepared for such issues. Second, plan every detail of the event months in advance. Having a well-structured, planned out event minimizes the chance of offending any of our guests. It also allows the Organization to ensure that the conference does not interfere with common cultural holidays (see appendix). Last, encourage the guests to learn about the other cultures attending the conference. If they are informed of what offends other cultures, embarrassing and offensive situations can be minimized. If all of the above is followed, the Organization can host a very successful and incident-free conference.
