About This Page

This page serves as an unofficial source of snowfall data across the Denver/Boulder forecast area. Data is downloaded from the NOHSRC v2 Dataset and is stored temporarily on IEM servers. Data is plotted using matplotlib in python.

I hope to maintain Seasonal Snowfall images along with graphics of any significant snowfall events for the I-25 corridor.

Classic barrier jet development with north winds ripping. Metro effectively shut down for about a day. An hour to shovel a path out of my parking garage!

September 2020 Early Snow

Not much in Denver, but ~5" at the WFO in Boulder. Just a few days after 101F!
